Well here I am in Cyber world, blogging for the very first time. I am not quite sure what we are supposed to be talking about.
I would like to introduce what I know about drawing, which is absolutely nothing. I do however love to draw, but have never had any classes on drawing so I am feeling like this class is going to be an adventure for me.
I feel like I am pretty computer savvy so I don't think that there will be any problems with that side of things.
I have taken other on-line classes before and liked them, but I also know that they take a lot more work.
I am not afraid of work, but I am taking 3 classes this semester, in the middle of renovating a farmhouse that is 150years old and working 40 hours. Thank goodness the girls are grown and gone.
My favorite medium to use is pen and watercolor paper. Any pen but mostly black. I especially like the black gel pens. I like the watercolor paper because it is heavy and I like how it absorbs the ink. My favorite thing to draw is landscapes and flowers. I especially hope that this class will show me how to illustrate trees in a better light. I would love to learn how to make my drawings look more than one dimensional.
